How To Play Sudoku - Solving Numbers In A Mini-Grid
When a mini-grid is missing some number, you maybe able to look at the rows and columns that run through the mini-grid to solve the missing numbers.
Move your finger around a mini-grid to determine which numbers from 1
to 9 are missing.
Make a note of the missing numbers.
Pick one of the empty boxes in the mini-grid. Look at the row and column that run through the empty box in the mini-grid.
Determine if any of the missing numbers you wrote down appear in the row or column.
You will hopefully be able to use this method to fill in all of the missing numbers in a mini-grid. If the sudoku does not give you enough information to figure out one or more of the missing numbers, the empty boxes in the mini-grid will have to remain unsolved for now.
If the row or column already contains one of the missing numbers,
you cannot place the number in the empty box. Cross the number off your list of missing numbers.
If you are left with only one missing number, this number is your answer. Write the number in the empty box. To solve the other missing numbers in the mini-grid, repeat steps 1 to 7.
